/ About the project
Problem:
Sneaker culture is rich, fast-moving, and deeply personal, but many publications either feel too corporate or fail to capture the authentic voice of the community. SOLE needed an editorial design that could balance high-end visuals with the raw, street-level passion that defines sneakerheads.
Solution:
I crafted a design system for SOLE that merges clean, bold typography with gritty, urban-inspired textures and layouts. Through dynamic page compositions, detailed sneaker photography, and thoughtful storytelling, I built an editorial style that feels both premium and authentic. Every design decision — from color palettes to font choices — was made to celebrate the culture, not just report on it. The result is a publication that resonates deeply with readers who live and breathe sneakers.
